Hello, my name is Vicky, and I’m a freelance designer and illustrator with over 15 years experience in print and publishing. Within publishing, I have worked mainly on non-fiction titles, specialising in illustrated, co-editional books for publishers such as Dorling Kindersley, Make Believe Ideas and Scholastic.
I am highly experienced in layout design, commissioning freelance illustrators, photographers, prop and food stylists. I have also organised and art directed a number of photoshoots.
Alongside layout design I have a passion for illustration and inspiration often comes from long walks, being outside in nature, old buildings and genuinely a slower pace of life. Oh, and sometimes my dog Barley, makes an appearance too.
My designs have been used across a variety of platforms, from social media, clothing to stationery.
