I am a freelance designer with over 20 years in print, publishing and packaging.
Working for internationally known publishers such as DK, Scholastic, Quarto, Make Believe Ideas I have designed numerous illustrated reference titles within the lifestyle category such as gardening, baking and craft. I have also designed Marvel and Star Wars titles for licensing teams as well as children’s education. A recent series I worked on were the Brain Booster activity books by DK.
During my time at Mount Street Printers, I designed logos and stationery. I worked closely with clients creating bespoke designs using traditional print methods such litho, letterpress, die-stamping and foiling; but always keeping to their budget.
Packaging design allows me to think slightly differently by working to a 3D form and having to attract customers in an alternative way to books and logos.
